Athletic Trainer

Job Description Summary
Daily evaluation and care of student-athletes who have been injured or are rehabilitating from injury.
Job Description
Duties and Tasks:
Evaluation and treatment of athletic injuries.
Track and document injuries and insurance for student records.
Work with physicians on care required beyond the scope of the trainer.
Supervise rehabilitation of the student athletes, assist in drug testing of the student athletes.
Supervise student athletic trainers and communicate with coaches and other staff members.
Assist Physicians in pre-participation physicals and review medical history.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge:
Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university
NATA certification
Florida State Licensure eligible
Skills:
Care and prevention of injuries
Excellent communication skills
Excellent record keeping.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
